It wasn't my fault. I'm hurt. I have no
car. I'm missing time from work. What's going to happen?
Put the
Pinder Legal Team to work for you to help you through these tough
times. Making an insurance claim is a lot of work. Here is an
outline of how a case moves with the Pinder Legal Team.
We Start
By
-
Contacting all insurance companies. Who has money to pay my
client?
-
What
needs to be done to get the bad guy's insurance to admit it was
his fault?
-
Getting you back on the road by making sure property damage and
rental car is approved.
We Know
How To
-
Make
sure you are getting quality healthcare by a professional who is
properly documenting the relationship of your injury to the
incident - and its effect on your life. You are entitled to a
doctor of your choice--not an HMO.
-
Make
sure those medical bills are paid promptly through PIP insurance
and without harassing contact from bill collectors.
-
Document your lost wages and out of pocket expenses to get you
as much money through PIP to help you right away.
We NEVER
-
Think
about settlement until your doctor says you are good as you are
going to get. Are you "Good as new" or are you "just going to
have to live with it".
-
Charge
you a penny for our fees or expenses unless we settle or win
your case.
-
We
then think about what the case is worth by looking at:
a. amount of medical bills.
b. period of pain and suffering - what activities
did this keep you from performing.
c. permanency - life expectancy.
d. jurisdiction.
We Then
Negotiate
-
The
bad guy's insurance company gets a chance to make things right.
-
We
give you advice on whether:
-
To
settle or not to settle -- I will discuss with you what the
insurance company has to offer --but you have the final say.
-
Bottom Line: Ed's recommendation is based on his personal
experience of hundreds of trials. I am in court a couple of
times each week, trying cases just like yours.
-
We
listen to you.
-
You make the call to settle. If you are not happy, we are
ready, willing, and able to file suit and go to court.
-
If
suit- this office handles everything. We do not send or
refer to other lawyers.
